From Hobby Tinkerers to 3D Printing Pioneers
At Imperial Arms 3D, we began as weekend hobbyists hand-crafting a DT-29 blaster inspired by Director Krennic—long before we owned a 3-D printer. That first project sparked an obsession with screen-accurate Star Wars props and set us on the path to full-time craftsmanship.
After saving for my first printer, I taught myself mechanical engineering, CAD modeling, 3D-printer maintenance, sanding, painting, web and graphic design, social media, and smart advertising. Over a decade of nights and weekends, those skills converged under one roof. Today the shop runs a large farm of machines and applies high-end primers, airbrushed layers, and micro-weathering to deliver 501st-Friendly, Bapty & Co–inspired Star Wars blaster replicas that look fresh off the movie set.

As our reputation grew, studios and brands like General Electric approached us to support Star Wars collaborations, alongside collectors and cosplayers. When Boba Fett found himself in need of a blaster, we were there to equip him with an EE-3 of unmatched durability, capable of withstanding even the harshest conditions of a Sarlacc pit.

"I purchased a set of ‘clean’ WESTAR- 34's, with one twirl trigger guard. Each one was carefully packaged and wrapped to ensure a safe and secure shipping. Upon delivery, the quality and accuracy of the chrome barrel has a consistent finish, you have to look very close to see the print lines but very hard to tell it was 3d printed. The construction of the Westar's has a solid feel when gripped firmly, no squeaks or flexing when in hands or in holsters. No trouble twirling the Westar's with or without gloves. Would recommend to anyone who is looking for high quality product that is not just for display."
