This is a made to order custom reinforced Stormtrooper BlasTech TL-50 Imperial Heavy Repeater. This prop is assembled from a 3-D printed PLA plastic and is then weathered. I worked hard to match the stock color to that of the reference material. I also take the time to reinforce the stock and barrel of the prop with wood inside the interior so that it is much more durable then most other props of it's type. I also take the time to add a high gloss metal effect through out the prop to make it look like the various renditions in video games throughout the years. The unfinished kit option is for a printed set of parts which you can assemble and paint on your own.
I offer both wood reinforced (lightweight) and steel rod reinforced (Heavy realistic weight)
Length: 32 inches
THE "DIY KIT" OPTION IS FOR A PRINTED SET OF PARTS WHICH YOU CAN ASSEMBLE AND PAINT ON YOUR OWN.
We recommend sanding by hand with 220 grit sandpaper and working up to 400-600 grit for final smoothing.
********DO NOT USE ANY TYPE OF ELECTRIC TOOLS I.E. PAD SANDERS TO SMOOTH THE PARTS AS IT WILL MELT AND DEFORM THE PRODUCT.********
Alot of love goes into this process and I believe it really comes out in the final product!
The results may vary slightly from item to item since this is a made to order product.
PLEASE KEEP IN MIND WHEN ORDERING THAT THIS ITEM TAKES 8-10 WEEKS TO COMPLETE DEPENDING ON HOW BUSY WE ARE.
Stormtrooper TL-50 Imperial Heavy Repeater Star Wars Reinforced Replica Prop
The Imperial heavy repeater was a design manufactured by BlasTech Industries and used by the Galactic Empire. It was an improvement over the earlier Imperial Repeater, which was developed by Moff Rebus. The gun had an extremely rapid rate of fire and a moderate spread pattern. It differed from previous repeater models in two critical areas. First, it used metallic bolts similar to those used by the more primitive slugthrowers. Second, it carried an attached concussion grenade launcher, which allowed the gun to fire a concussive explosive. The heavy repeater was valued by the Imperials for its rate of fire and effective suppression fire capabilities, and was often used for crowd control or to provide covering fire over a large area.
